Small and useful
Although this knife is slightly smaller than many bushcraft knives (since it’s just under 4 inches), it is extremely comfortable to use for long periods of time, due to the contoured handle, rounded spine, and light weight. It carves very well and is an excellent choice for a campo knife or a bushcraft knife where you’ll be doing lots of wood processing and crafting to make various things around the camp. The high flat grind means it also works very well for all other camp chores, food processing, etc. The m390 blade means that long periods of use don’t really dull the blade significantly. It’s a bit small for much batoning, but it is certainly sturdy enough to baton through anything within it’s blade length range. If ou want to strike a ferry rod or fat wood stick with it, use the sharpened flat tang that protrudes from the back of the handle. Only cons: It did need a bit of sharpening out of the box. And the snap on the leather sheath was too tight at first, but eventually with some mink oil I softened it up enough to stretch and fit.
