Plus the same incredible attention to detail like the exquisitely designed hardened steel insert in the aluminum toolbar that prevents the aluminum wearing against the hard steel blade. Though not quite as compact as the smaller SR-2, the SR-1 still qualifies as an EDC knife. LionSteel make beautiful knives, and the Aluminum handled versions make them affordable for everyone.

I am a super happy with this knife! I have a few folders but this one is really thick and it's got a heavy weight to it - which is real nice. The handle has also got some weight so it's well balanced. It definitely feels more tool-like, almost like a folding bushcraft fixed blade with a nice little pommel tip on the end of the handle. It is definitely for more heavy duty work than an ordinary folding knife. Because of the weight, the blade doesn't flip open with a finger flick like smaller knifes, but that's ok I use mine for work not defense. It's not hard to open the blade, it's quite smooth, but you'll have to really swing your whole hand to have it open one-handed. The pocket clip is a little tiny too. Otherwise super awesome.

Tranchant efficace, très belle esthétique d'ensemble .S'affute bien. Malgré sa taille, ne se sent pas dans la poche avec le clip. L'ouverture de la lame est assez difficile compte tenu de la course qu'il faut faire avec le pouce. Le liner lock est très dur ! Dans l'ensemble c'est un très bon et beau couteau , beaux matériaux, très bon rapport qualté/prix Effective edge, beautiful overall aesthetic. Sharpens in well. Despite its size, does not feel in the pocket with the clip. The opening of the blade is quite difficult given the race must be done with your thumb. The liner lock is very hard! Overall this is a very good and beautiful knife, fine materials, very good value qualté / price
