Good-looking and comfortable

I knew this was a good looking knife from the photos, but what caught me by surprise when I had it in my hands was how comfortable the handle was. I normally prefer wood or some synthetics to a bare metal grip, but in this case the shape, size, and surface texture feel good to me. What's more, the way the clip collapses into the handle really does make a big difference to comfort. I would go so far as to say that this is the most comfortable knife I own (even if it's a tiny bit smaller than I would like for my slightly-larger-than-average hands). Unfortunately this does come at a cost: the clip isn't actually very secure in use. I mean, it does the job of keeping the knife aligned and easily accessible, but... let's just say there's some knives I reckon would stay clipped in place even if I did a cartwheel, and this is NOT one of them. But that's fine. I would classify this as a "gentleman's knife". Good looking, with an elegant blend of old and new stylistic elements, well made, and very comfortable, it's a pleasure to use, but perhaps not really intended to be abused. Just think of it as a non-pocket-clip knife, that CAN be clipped in a pocket if necessary.
