Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Material
Great price point EDC.
- Excellent ergonomics - Fit/finish exceeded my expectations. - Effortless deployment with no wrist flick needed. - Carries well Highly recommend this knife especially at this price. It does have 440c so sharpening will be needed more often but it will take an edge with minimal effort. The design is different but ergonomics are well thought out and feels good in any position. Great for normal EDC or defensive applications.
I purchased two of these knives, one for my son-in-law who is a police investigator and one for myself. My son-in-law has been using his Responder continuously on the job and even off duty. I’m a retired federal officer and have been using me Responder for automotive repair jobs such as gasket removal, wire stripping and also some light hiking chores. We both love the feel of this knife, the blade is very well made, it just needed a little sharpening out of the box. For EDC some may find the weight a little on the heavy side and the pocket clip a tad short, but overall this knife is a great value. I’m seriously thinking of purchasing two more as gifts for members of my family.
This is a good knife for what I paid ...I like it... while useing it I put my finger in front of flipper... more comfortable ,,, easy to control cuts,,,my knife has different steel not 440c... it's alright, ,,,
great ergonomics and style to this knife, great flipper system, but the pocket clip design combined with the handle material make the clip useless, I can't use this knife as an edc because it's difficult and painful to use the clip, when you get it into your pocket, you'll have to pull really hard to get the knife out,it won't happen fast.
Cons: Weight, Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use, Pocket Clip
good and bad
Great design, way to heavy for a EDC pocket knife. When you grip the handle the flipper digs into you finger. If I knew the weight I would have picked something else. Look me up on facebook, I make THE smallest EDC knife. Thanks
