COARSE lansky stone
This is my second one. I spend most of my time with this one establishing a new edge. With this purchase, I also got an Extra Coarse stone to cut down on my time establishing an edge. Seems like the coarse stones are the first to go. If you use them correctly, you barely use the others before progressing to the finer and finer grits. Of course, it takes a lot of time and patience, but hey... do what you have to do for shaving sharp, right?
