My experience
I bought this knife because of the recommendation of knife center. It was purchased (Aug 2019) to be a do it all galley/kitchen knife in a truck camper where space is ALWAYS a consideration. We just completed 32 days straight in the camper with only 7 meals not prepared/cooked over the fire or stove or oven in camper. Only one knife used for all duties (this one as we only carried one knife in the camper) with only the occasional use of my pocket knife (ZT). In short the best assessment I can provide, when home with the choice of my three Wusthoff classic icons-my thoughts are I miss my knife in my camper! Chopped, peeled, carved, any "cutting" I used this knife. Nicely balanced, nice swell at the end of the handle for secure feeling in my extra large hands. I might buy another for the house because I like that much. Performed as expected and hoped for, and yes held an edge nicely.
