Not a knife guy, but I was tired of buying cheap products that barely made the grade. I dont' know how the internet decided to show this one to me, but I have a Hobie 16 catamaran, am a DIYer, and in a desirable income bracket for advertisers. Result: perfect match. Bought this originally because I thought it looked cool, and found with time that this rig is as tough as they come. The blade is sharper and stronger than I realized, and on two occasions barely missed cutting my own hide. The handle will not slip your grip. It's shape offers torque and pull for any task. The pliers offer more than just a shackle pin slot, and you will find more opportunities to use this that you haven't imagined yet. The spike. Loosening knots is obvious, but digging, peeling, piercing, line pulling and more are in your pocket. Only reviewing here because I'm reordering to replace the one I had to leave at the border.
