Knife good Sheath bad

First I love the way this knife looks and feels in hand , obviously it's not designed to fell a tree . It is a small nice fixed blade ! My problem is the sheath ,look at the picture the sheath goes over the top of the knife ,to get the knife out you have to maneuver the strap out of the way and the same with putting it back .For me it is inconvenient and takes away from my experience with the knife. I bought a MKM sheath for it and it's been working the way I want but it isn't made for it and over time will probably fail. Just make the strap flip the other way and it would be perfect .
