It's True

Heavy duty great knife-i use it much more than my 6" standard style chef knife-and it scoops the chopped items up for easy transfer to pot, plate. nice tang, handle, very sharp and resharpens easily, Give one to a friend!

Remarkable Value

I was leery of expecting too much of this knife at the price. I have used mine now for about 6 months. I have a large collection of high end knives, and in my opinion this knife is easily worth 2X the price. My next knife, if I should need one, and who doesn;t need just one more, will be one of these knives. It takes an edge quickly and holds it for a reasonable time.. I am very impressed with a company that can produce quality in anything at a fair price. Here the price is crazy low!

Amazing Quality- low Price!

Just received my Mercer Genesis Usuba knife. This is truly amazing quality at an incredible price! I have seen many comparable knives in kitchen stores, including a couple of the big shot chain stores for 3X the price. There are several people in my family who love to cook with quality equipment that will be getting one of these knives for Christmas. Allen

Great Cleaver

Simple: This is a great knife. It fits well in your hand and chops up your food easily with room to spare. The materials are of high quality and it shows. In all honesty this knife should cost more....but don't tell anybody.

Update

Still my favorite. Occasionally get it sharpened professionally, maintain edge easily with diamond stick (ceramic just seems too fine), use it daily. And still love the 5 inch utility too. and the paring knife-good spine, edge.
