Great Dagger!

I stabbed this thing though the hood of a car. -It is meant to stab. -It is not meant to cut. -It conceals extremely well. -It is for concealed carry/personal protection -It is not meant for pruning, cutting a piece of paper, taking your thumb to it to see if its sharp, if you do these things with this dagger it will probably end up in your tool box. I highly recommend this dagger to someone who knows how to use a dagger for what its used for.

This is a wedge... Not a knife....

You people are silly! Stop rating this blade because it isn't sharp! Its not supposed to be! It has a reinforced amount of metal at the tip to be used as a wedge, prying tool, or just as a stabbed if u wanna carry it that way. Can you imagine the hole this thing would leave in an assailant? Get real folks! Do your research before you just buy a knife that isn't even advertised as a cutting tool!!

A heavy stout thing

My main reason to collect this item was to get a Besh Wedge to look at. Pictures don't display the concept. It was not very sharp beyond the tip. Once it is it might have some function gouging and cutting in the woods. Even limited by it's scope as a thrusting tool over a general cutter. It is a nice hefty balanced handful.

Easy order process, quick delivery

Needed a knife that would withstand penetrating and levering of compacted soil. This knife appears to have the heft to do that.

TOUGH to review!

Well...this is obviously more of a tool than a knife. I did get the edges reasonably sharp, but that's not good enough - at least for me. Good for stabbing and gouging and prying, however. Don't see any reaally good cutting qualities and would not carry it for defensive purposes. Well made, solid, probably practical, but not for me. It'll end up in one of my toolboxes.

Less Than Satisfied

Very disapointed in this knife. THe blade was so dull out of the box it wouldn't even cut a piece of paper.

I bought this knife out of shear curiousity. It is an interesting concept. The tip of the knife arrived semi sharp. A little work with a stone and I had a decent edge on the tip (imagine the tip of a flat head screw driver). But the four edges of the blade are dull, not semi sharp just flat dull. I tried using a stone on them and made very little head way. It appears the Besh Wedge is strickly a stabbing and prying tool.

What Do You Use It For?

I also bought this knife out of curiosity and Man, was I disappointed! This blade geometry is like a crow bar, I don't think you can cut butter with this knife, very dull. So what do you use it for? Scraping Barnicles.

worst knife I have ever bought

There really isnt anything great abut this "knife" if i can even be called that. The blade doesnt have a single sharp edge whatsoever. Couldn't even cut a piece of paper> the pictures are misleading, making it seem that there is the potential for two edges. Don not buy this knife is your intentions are to cut anything, if you want to chisel away at something it is more suited for that.
