This is a well made knife, solid lockup, stiff but usable liner lock with a good flipping action. My only complaint is that it came butter knife dull. You could not cut anything with it. This is very disappointing on an otherwise well made knife.
its a good looking knife, the hopes for mkm was rly high so im lil bit dissapointed rn, the flipper tab isnt done well, also detent is kinda strong, rip my fingers ..
As others have written it came VERY dull for a new knife, but even then, the geometry here is VERY thick behind the edge and is not going to give you the cutting dynamics you expect from a CEO style knife. This stays more true to the dagger geometry and keeps a very wide bevel angle. You have to sharpen at 25-30 degrees to clean it up and avoid messing with the dagger profile, otherwise that bevel gets tall and eats into the main blade. Clip was pretty loose on delivery as well. MKM is very hit or miss.
Pros: Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Pocket Clip, Weight
Cons: Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality
The dullness is spreading
Have t agree with everything the first reviewer says. Fit, finish and action are all excellent. But this knife is shamefully dull. I rated it lower than the other reviewer because the edge is by far the most important part of a knife and if you can't get that right..... Love the look of the knife. I actually have a Zieba MS this is modeled on, but that one is a safe queen and I wanted a user gentleman's knife. It has the looks but not the edge. Wish I had the gear to measure, photo, and prove it, but it looks like they rushed the sharpening phase and did not grind far enough up the blade to even create an edge. The grind geometry looks all wrong and too short for the 2 sides to meet and create a sharp edge. The hypotenuse of the grind is too short.
