Team "Other Blade Shape"

The MKM Pocket Tango 2 really does encapsulate the phrase "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts" The listed dimensions are accurate, yet it seems to sit right in the sweet spot of not too small, not too big and all but disappears in my pocket until needed. What I notice (and unexpectedly appreciate) about this knife is it seems to appear in my hand, perform whatever cutting task I require, and then vanish back into it's beautiful sheath without fuss. Most times I draw it straight into an indexed finger forward grip, make my cut and done. What I did not expect was just how light this knife would be. Every edge is beautifully finished, the micarta scales a soft and well finished and the magnacut blade is undeniably tough. I struggle to find fault, and instead say you get what you pay for and this price for this now daily companion is well worth it.

I really like it, more useful than anticipated

I really did not think I had any use for a pocket fixed blade, but I put my faith in DCA and ordered it out of curiosity and to support DCA. Lo and behold, this thing is darn useful ! It is comfortable in my front pocket, and has easily slayed dozens of Amazon boxes and reliably sliced through plastic tubing for my fish tank. Quality and appearance are top-notch. Highly recommended, even if you have several dozen folding knives, as I do.

pleased

very useably sharp right out of the box. Great size, screams for a lanyard. love the scales and the blade shape. almost scary slicey.

my 1st daily carry fixed blade. i was slightly concerned about the sheath, but i actually like the magnetic closure and the way it fits in my pocket. so far i have had no issues with it coming loose. it does take half a second and part of a functioning brain cell to draw it with out the sheath trying to come with it. but the more i use it the more i like that functionality. beats hard plastic for me hands down.

the magnacut has held it’s edge so far. i have not abused it, but i carry my daily carry to use it, not as pocket jewelry.

Good knife, little bit pricy

This is certainly a good solid pocket fixed blade: comfortable and pretty handle, good steel with a nice finish, seems tough enough to handle anything for its size. I recommend this knife. I was disappointed that it wasn't very sharp out of the box; I have a good sharpener but it's MagnaCut, getting the blade to paper-slicing sharp took a while. I didn't have to redo the grind or anything heavy-duty, just a bit more elbow grease than I would have liked. I am also not fond of the sheath, it is an odd fit for this knife. The slit isn't quite wide enough to comfortably accommodate the handle, and there's no shaping on the interior so the blade slides in at whatever angle. Certainly the sheath is usable, just not great. Even for a small knife, this is a good price for a MagnaCut fixed blade, and a good option for EDC. Just keep in mind that money comes from somewhere: in this case, less-than-ideal factory sharpening and a few corners were cut with the sheath.
