Got these to help my wife cut through whole chicken. Works great with very little effort. Much easier then using our Shun knives for this purpose.

PRODUCT IS TERRIFIC - waiting forever to get it wasn't
These poultry shears are the best I have ever owned. Very heavy and though they have a locking mechanism, the don't lock after EVERY cut like my Henkels did. I called the company to inquire if the item was in stock and I was ASSURED it was. Then I got an e-mail stating they were backordered. About two weeks later I called to inquire again and was told they were shipping that VERY day. Well, that was another fib. I finally got them months later.
