Not the grits they claim to be
I am very disappointed with this product. The side they claim to be 1000 grit was just as rough as my 400 grit if not more so. and the 3000 grit side was the same as my 800 grit water stone. I was will not be buying anything from Messermeister again do to this experience. I do not know if all of the stones they sale are like this but for the price i would not want to risk it again.. So if you are looking for a 1000/3000. look elsewhere.
