What a unique knife!
As a person who really likse mechanical devices, the planetary gear head-driven pivot grabbed my attention immediately. The opening mechanism takes. little push to get it open and then throws very nicely once in motion. The Damascus 62-layer blade is stylish and draws attention from onlookers when in use. The overall steam-punk look and feel of this knife as a real-work working tool makes this knife a unique item in my collection, and I don't plan to part with it any time soon. My only issue is the liner lock. It's a little shallow and hard to catch when operating one handed. As sharp as this blade is, I typically close it two-handed ... but it definitely can be operated single-handed. I wish the liner-lock tab was a little more pronounced. I love this knife!
