I only did a little testing but I was very impressed with this tactical knife. Both edges of mine were shaving sharp, and although the handle took a bit of getting used to it is very secure in-hand, and I imagine it holds up in the rain. The steel is very nice and it's a good thick slab of it, and the black finish looks good in person. Good weight too: the heft rests comfortably against my palm and the balance is just fine. This is sort of designed to be an ugly knife, but it's an excellent tool and weapon. The sheath really does suck: seems like it's designed to go on a backpack. I got rid of the bottom set of snaps to make removing the knife smoother. I used this knife to do it, so a good real-world cutting test vs carboard or plastic bottles: the blade went through the nylon like butter and I had no trouble getting the cut started. So I imagine this would hold up well against seatbelts and other tough synthetic fibers you might come across in a survival/tactical situation... though do some research on that, I haven't actually cut any seatbelts and it's not serrated. Regardless, this is definitely worth taking a look at, especially at the discount.
