Good little knife

This is a nice little knife. It's functional and comfortable to use for a variety of tasks. The plastic sheath is alright, but kind of clunky and loud when hanging and it bumps up on something. The short blade enhances the utility of this knife, making it nice and maneuverable, while also keeping it legal for carry in IL. All in all I would recommend this knife to others, and I look forward to checking out other Mantis products.

Mantis MU-4 is What it is

Reasonable knife, good design, but the sheath is not so great. Cheap plastic that cracks easily. I'm on my third sheath, but Mantis has great customer support so all I had to do was write a quick email with my address and they sent a new one in a couple of days at no cost to me. The steel is 420J which I wasn't familiar with when I purchased this knife. Cheap. The knife doesn't hold a great edge and the edge I did get with my ceramic sharpener didn't last long, either. I don't think I'll buy another 420J blade. The finish on the other hand is still immaculate. I've done some bad things to this knife and it still looks perfect. Probably why 420J is used for a lot of dive knives. The bottle opener is a cool feature, but be careful that you use it the right way around or you'll crack the top of the bottle off. Also, do it with the sheath on or you'll probably hurt yourself. Great concept, poor execution.

Kneck Knife

A little bulky for a neck knife so I think I will be hanging it from a ring on my bag instead of around my neck. Overall it is a nice addition to my collection of knives and I am glad I purchased it.

I just used it to open my beers,but it def worked well for that
