Just a few weeks ago I purchased the Demon version of this knife. It is identical to the L. E. with the exception of composite body scales. This Damascus version ups the ante by providing all of the goodness of the original model, but feeling more substantial and upscale. I normally don't associate weight with quality (I also collect fountain pens, and I HATE heavy ones), but in this case it is welcome with such a small body. Mantis might have carried the design motif of the front of the knife over to the back side, but I'm picking nits...I guarantee this will cause conversation when you pull it out, and will take care of 80% of your cutting needs.

Nice 5th pocket usefull conversation piece. Like the mosaic damascus knives in the center as the KnifeCenter exclusive. Good price for the quality and compared to other Mantis' I have seen.

Best 5th pocket-knife anywhere
This little 5th pocket wonder is hefty. It handles well for it's small size. The Damascus stainless looks great and is a fantastic conversation starter. The KnifeCenter logo built into the handle is a cool idea. So far, everyone I've shown the knife to has made favorable remarks about it. This is a great collaboration between Mantis and KnifeCenter.

Premium Pocket Knife
Pocket knife causes more conversations about the cool factor, how and why it is made. Use it for everyday cutting needs. Holds an edge, but then all Damascus steel blades seem to do so. Anything considered not so good are overcome by the quality, feel, appearance and just damned cool little pocket knife. My advice, Get one...

great piece
I was very pleased with the delivery time, but i was disappointed with the cost of shipping for such a small item, very pleased with the knife itself it's my first damascus as well as my first coin knife but was surprised at how small it is i was thinking it would be more like a poker chip size but over all like it very much and will show it off often.

Very handy and goes with me everywhere. You can tell by the weight that it is very robust and might be able to handle some medium duty cutting in a pinch.

Cool little knife!
This is a cool little knife, beautifully made and easy to slip in any pocket, even those tiny coin pockets. The allen bolt that serves as the pivot did back out a little bit after a week or so, but a little bit of locktite fixed that right up!
