This baton feels like a well made firearm. Once I got it, I oiled it up with Benchmade blue lube and it deploys ever so easily. Is made heavy, but not too heavy for quick counter responses. It's grip allows for super retention---very grippy. Would recommend to all who can legally use this. Pricey, but way better than friction lock. Gotta hold one to realize you've got a keeper in your hand.
