Aethestic and quality

I bought this name last week. I have been planning to buy Microtech knife since last year. This name is beautifully made, simple to carry, and really sharp. the quality and durability in the design you definitely feel it. it looks simple but feels very powerful in the hand.

Best of the best

What can I say that hasn't been said already? Have a few knives in my collection, this is my favorite. Great knive for opening bags or sacks, the pointy blade makes it very easy to make cuts at precision and I can guarantee you won't regret buying this. The black painted blade is icing on the cake, Im glad I spent a few extra bucks on this one when I was thinking of just going for the plain blade, makes it look unique. I was conflicted on buying this or the infidel and after having this one, I won't be getting the infidel.

Can't Decide...

This is the first 'Quality' OTF I purchased. I have since purchased another: The Exocet. They are both beautiful knives, to be sure, superlative examples of their of craftsmen's skills, but my experience with OTFs prior to these has been limited to promotional items running under $100. Fact is, the promo knives are much easier to deploy and retract, but I certainly wouldn't want to use them for any significant task. These beauties would obviously be up to any reasonable duty requested of them, but I simply cannot deploy or retract them one-handed ( neuropathy in my power hand ). Do they break in? Do I need to spend hours opening and closing them two-handed, until they reach a satisfying level of ease of functionality? I would be happy to do that if I could be assured of success, or is there a mechanical adjustment that can be made? Candidly, I didn't buy either of these 'some-day-to-be-classics' for use or carry ( in the Northeast, where I live, carry can get you a ride to the stationhouse, and presumptive use could get you into much deeper jeopardy!) I bought them both to add to my rather eclectic collection, but I had thought I would be able to engage in some meditational fidget time. Can you please advise? ( They ARE beautiful, aren't they? )

Weak Action

When it arrived it wouldn’t cycle at all. It would come out half way and stop. After about a thousand cycles it would operate but still pretty weak. Not crazy about it.
