I no longer have to use a leather strop with paste. This strop will replace a leather strop that requires paste and will get your knife hair shaving sharp. I find it easy to use and now use it on all my knives. Highly recommended.

Perfect for travel
This is absolutely perfect for travel and care in between full sharpening. The medium side leaves a wonderfully toothy edge and can bring back a worn edge no problem. The fine side is about as fine as I like to take a kitchen knife, a sort of hazy polish that still retains bite. tldr; Best bang for your buck diamond strop. Thin, stiff and fast.

Handy for touch ups!
The Truer is great for quick and easy edge tune ups. The double-sided diamond resins are great for getting sharp working or finer, more polished edges. It weighs nothing and is just a great additional tool to have.
