Wonderful Knife

I am a big fan of this knife? It’s simple and affordable, but made with incredible quality. The handle is solid and the opening is smooth (use oil as needed). I love the little ‘handle’ to open the blade, it’s nice that you don’t have to touch the blade in order to open the knife. The blade itself is very good- I’m able to get it razor sharp. The way it’s ground also looks beautiful, I love that layered steel style. All in all, for $17, I don’t really have much to complain about.

Really good knife and amazing customer service

I bought it for my brother and he loves it! He just uses it as a normal pocket knife It's slightly stiff at first but loosens up easy. It's also very *very* sharp it just needs a bit of a stropping. The bluing on the steel looks awesome. I would recommend taking some steel wool to perhaps the frame and also the back of the blade but other than that it's perfect. I originally ordered the one with brass handles but its so hard to get in stock I decided to change my order to this one and I am not disappointed. And Knife Center was wonderful as always with their customer service.

Good utility blade

A simple folder; good blade steel and sharp. The handle is blackened steel and is tightly riveted to the blade. Should provide years of use; a good value at the price.

A+ Form and Function

Using this product as an EDC blade is a great choice. • Blade steel hardness is perfectly balanced for sharpening and edge retention. •Handle is very durable and a spot of oil on the hinge will keep it like new forever. • If action gets loose a few taps of a hammer on the hinge rivet and you're good to go. • Not a pry-bar but has handled every cutting task it's been challenged with without any struggle, including 1" hemp rope, ⅛" ABS plastic, and any wood.

Great value. Super sharp. Cleans up nice.

I keep this in a bag I use for traveling. It is a superb slicer. It was only$20, so I thought it'd be cheap -- just a novelty old-type folder-- it is not! The blade is essentially Sanmai steel. Pretty clearly hand-forged. The pivot is nice and tight; which is good because it doesn't lock. And it is scary sharp! I just made a few passes on my strop, and buffed the blade a bit, and it's really pretty.
