NOC Knives MT-33 is sci-fi cool, but...

I bought this knife for the cool factor. It has the piston lock, the carbon fiber, the throwback Star Wars design; all the things we geeks love when it comes to the look or the presence of the knife. The blade adds to the sci-fi look with the sharp angles of the Wharncliffe blade and the industrial looking (although impractical/painful-to-use) thumb stud. The opening and closing action using the piston is smooth and precise. The clip is too tight to use on jeans or even my thinner material cargo shorts. Aside from this, it still looks cool. I don't think it will work as an EDC, but I will keep it in my truck where I can put it in a sheath or pouch where I don't have to use the clip.
