I have a drawer full of various sharpening equipment. I'm not sure I should consider myself an expert by any means, but I have sharpened knives that took the hair off my arm. Unfortunatly I've not experienced that with these Norton Stones. That said, I've only had one round of knife sharpening with them, and my experience with these stones may evolve.
