OK, it's not pretty, balanced or comfortable to hold. But it has exactly what you need to start a fire. This plus wood and you can start about three fires. Nice touch is the tinder is kept dry within the handle. I see little chance of it ever breaking. As a Survival Fire Starter = A As a Whistle = B-
