A friend had one and already knew I wanted one. I liked it enough to order 4 ea. so my twin boys & my daughter's husband got one for X Mass. I have a number of high quality and configured hunting knives that when kept sharp and free of fat build up are great. The things that set a Razor apart is during skinning a lot of fat builds on the blade so you do a quick change out and back to work. Just throw the blade in some warm Dawn and use it later. Keep away from bone however. Orange handle is good when you drop it Since it isn't just a hunting knife it comes in handy for all kinds of things from cutting rope, foam insulation and cooking Ted
This knife with its changable blades, allows you to have a sharp knife at any time. With out all tje work of sharpining it. The onlything that would make it better, is to have a pocket knife made the same way.
The razor Blaze is a sturdy, well engineered solution to having sharp skinning knives to work with. Blades are easy to change, inexpensive to buy and can be sharpened in place with an Eze-Lap Diamond Hone. A great knife a great price. Thanks Outdoor Edge.
