Bought as a gift for my brother we got to use it the next day with excellent results, it worked better than I expected and I will be purchasing one for me as well, sheath could be better but blades are extremely sharp and not as brittle as l thought they would be

Bought this knife for a gift. The new owner asked me to use it that evening to compare it to other skinning knifes I have. I used it to clean a 200lbs +/- hog. The blade was razor sharp out of the box.Strong as any folder I have used. It was doing the job well until about 3/4 of the task had been complete. The blade went DULL like turning off a light switch, from one cut to the next. I didn't hit bone or anything unusual. So I decided to try to sharpen the blade with my favorite Arkansas stone. Didn't turn out so well. Nice to order extra blades. The grip was positive even full of blood and sweat! Over all good .......as a gift.
