FANTASTIC KNIFE

Used for deer hunting. Ordered a week before season started and wasn't sure it would get here in time. Salesman said it would be there in 2 days and it was. This is thee best knife I have ever used in the field. Been hunting deer for 45+ years and have many knives but this takes the cake....Lightweight with a sturdy blade on both sides and easy to handle..Can't say enough about it. Forget your gut hook knives and get one of these babies, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT...............

I purchased this knife for when my husband and i hunt. I was looking for a good skining knife along with a sharp gutting tool. I would recommend this knife for all outdoors ladies and men.Its light in weight, very sharp. Easy the flip too the second blade and back again. Its a great knife. And i cant wait too find a use for it out on the saginaw bay, chaseing the walleye.

Great knife

I love this knife because it has a solid build, it has the perfect weight to it. What I also love about it is how you get the blade and gut hook In one knife and it is easy to use. The case for the knife is great also because it locks your knife in place, that way you won't lose your knife. I love the orange handle easy to find the knife if you drop it in grass or anything like that. Overall it's just a great knife, best I have had so far.

Great hunting knife!

Perfect size blade and swing out gut hook that is easier to sharpen than notched gut hooks. The blaze orange handle is easy to grip and makes it almost impossible to lose in the field. Both blades have deep serrations on the top of the blade that locks your thumb when you press down so that, with the sure grip handle, makes it a safe knife to use. The sheath is a little different in that there seems to be a plastic liner that the blade fits into. The locking mechanizm to pivot the blade works positively and when fully open to the knife or guthook, firmly clicks and locks the blade. Both blades were not that sharp when I got the knife, but a couple of passes with a carbide sharpener made both razor sharp. There is very little that can be said negatively about the Swing Blaze that I can think of. Quality and fully functional design....a can't miss with hunters.

Best gutting knife ever

I've been looking for the perfect whitetail gutting knife for years. I've had Wyoming knives, straight blades, and gut hooks. This blows them all away. It is virtually impossible to bust a gut using this knife. Wish I had know about this years ago. The blade keeps a good edge and sharpens up easily. The gutting blade can easily be sharpened unlike the small guthooks on other knives. The sheath has a good grip and won't puncture like a lot of leather and cordura ones do. This will be my dedicated whitetail gutting knife. The orange rubber handle has a good feel and is hard to lose. The lock and pivot pin on this knife are very sturdy with no slop in them. I'll be buying a few for gifts.

I bought this knife for my husband. The knife in itself is great! I received the knife the day before thanksgiving...little did I know the knife was packaged backwards in the sheath and I cut myself. I had 50 plus sticthes and over 30 thousand dollars in medical bills! Be careful!

I purchased one of the SwingBlaze orange knives for my son, who does alot of big game hunting. Apparently the steel used in the knife is a form of stainless steel which is prone to rusting if the knife is not cleaned and oiled after use. Hence, if you are in the back woods, and extra care is not readily available, you may be better off with another brand of knife made with rust resistant stainless steel. The blades will not tolerate extended contact with blood and moisture.
