Just expensive paring knife
This is just an expensive paring knife. Blade is unevenly ground- the reverse side still has 3/8 Inch ricasso, this makes it impossible to sharpen the entire blade. Handle is rough enough to give you splinters. They don't mention that the sheath is made in China (found that sticker under the belt loop). I love KC. Great products (except this knife), rapid shipping. Save your money, not worth a $30 (with shipping and tax) paring knife. Go to a store and get a paring knife. Could this be used on bird and trout? - Yes, but not worth the price. Not returning it as I've sharpened it (at least the first 3 inches) and sanded the handle.
