Best Knife for the money period

Bought for camping. Looked at many before buying two of these. My wife loves hers and has already turned down offer to buy.Razor sharpe

Has become my favorite knife

I wasn't sure this knife was going to be worth the money but after owning it over a month . . .it is! The original jet pilot's survival knife is reflected in the blade and handle shape -- I think it's great the designers paid homage to a classic. But it's updated too. The handle is "hands down" the best handle of any knife I've ever held. It almost sticks to the hand :) The blade is sharp out of the box, the serrations are effective. Sheath is high quality. Con: the strap cutter that comes with the digital camo sheath has no slotted screwdriver on the end (the one that comes with the green sheath does). I knew this before I ordered and chose the digital camo, but wish I could have it both ways.

nice kit, first misrepresented

great kit, sheath is well made and sturdy. Knife is a good size providing lots of ability without being too large. handle is very comfortable. Nice collection of important features. Kit was first mis-represented having a screwdriver with the strap cutter. It did not some with the screwdriver. When I called Knife Center they were helpful to find out it was a mistake on their end. Didn't offer any resolve. Blade could come sharper.

Great you need more than one

Great all around survival knife very well designed. the only thing I would change is make the blade a little thicker, so it's better for heavy duty use. But that's nit picking. Great for your big out bags, and to take on hikes. I have several in different kits. Also window breaker on this knife is better than most. So one is in my glove box too. Plus price is great at Knife center For camping and heavy duty I have my Cold Steel Recon Scout.
