Cons: Handle Feel, Handle Material, Pocket Clip
A rare hollow edge folding knife!
I only know of 2 other production hollow edge (Kullenschliff) folding knives. Price-wise, this is the cheapest amongst the 3. It cuts nicely, and the blade shape and hollow edge scallops are nearly perfect! The detent is good, and the lockback is solid. My gripes are with the handle. Although textured, it's flat and quite thin. When set edge-down on a cutting surface, 2/3 of the blade never makes contact (3/4 when fingers are introduced). Regardless, the knife is easy to clean, and carries easily in the pocket -- even without a clip. The fingernail groove is okay for two-handed opening, but insufficient for one-handed deployment. It does have thin stainless steel liners, which are framed by the GFN handle material -- making it appear linerless. Giving it 4 stars for uniqueness. Chefs need more stainless steel hollow edge folding knife options!
