Pros: Handle Material, Overall Quality, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness

Get 'er done
I bought one of these several years ago after the purchase of the Ontario RD 4 Bush (which I bought through Knife Center) and is no longer in production. The TAK1 was put into my camping backpack. Turned out to be very good at cutting tent stakes, trimming small limbs off of larger limbs, cutting bank line, and paracord! Does a decent job of feather sticking too. Any short cummings in that process might be due to me as I am not the best feather stick maker out there! You can chop with it but it is not the best chopper due to being light weight! Easy to sharpen due to the 1095 steel. Holds a reasonable edge. I keep this attached to an LA Police gear 3 day backpack for easy access. That is the one good thing about the sheath........the ability to molle it to a backpack. Overall, this is a very good knife worthy of consideration for just about any scenario you might put it through!
