Excellent knife!

Some of the toughest fixed blades I own in my collection I cant even complain about the sheath because they dry out quickly if you get them wet. Wonderful tough hard working fixed blades if I am carrying a fixed blade daily it is an Ontario knife fixed blade.

LOVE KNIFECENTER AND THE KNIFE. GRIND IS OFF

When you hold these fighting knives in your hand, you do end up feeling like you may have a little bit of super powers!! The more squared off, rubberized handles seem more comfortable to me on the Ontario SP knives than the equivalent round Kabar versions. It just feels good in hand and like you have a great purchase. Good for even the biggest hands. This knife would be a 5 and not a 4 if they took some care grinding the bevel at the factory. I am totally reprofiling the one I received as the grind is uneven and stupidly thick. Despite that, I still love this thing!

Bang for the Buck

Pros: Well-balanced and tough fighting knife, comfortable handle, Knife Center service was excellent. Cons: Parkerized-type finish leaves something be desired, edge needs serious sharpening. Overall, for the money it's hard to beat, purchased the optional leather sheath, it should work out.

I really wanted to like it

My SP1 came dull as a bayonet, and despite being softer carbon steel it took a while to put a usable edge on it. I went out to try it out and after some hard use it started to have significant blade wobble (not to mention that it preformed pretty poorly). I knew these kabar style knives aren't meant for that sort of thing, but with how many people talked it up about being tough I somewhat expected it to hold up better. Also the sheath sucks like most people already know, but one cool thing about it is its molle compatible. It's a live and learn knife
