Top-Shelf Knife

Absolutely Love this knife. For anyone who truly knows about knife fighting and understands the reality behind straightedge weapon combat - you will probably find this to be your most favorite / preferred knife...especially if you have small to medium sized hands. I highly, highly doubt you will be disappointed if you purchase this amazing knife. The only thing I would change is the color - I would go with a black, green, or tan instead of the blue (= -RLTW

Great little daypack kinfe

Bought this knife to secure on my daypack. I wanted something small, lightweight, while accessible. I planned to carry my daypack, inverted, when I hit the trails. The molded sheath made this possible---unscrew the belt fastener, reposition, and screw the fastener back into place. The blade itself is short (2") but the handle was long enough to grip. Neck knives usually go for a longer blade and a short handle which, for me, took awhile to adopt but I still worry about my hand being jammed by the small handle or else sliding off of the handle entirely...not so with this knife. If you prefer a longer blade, Ontario does make a 3" blade (SG-3 Fortune) for you to consider. The knife itself has some heft to it, while the handle provides grip. The best thing about this knife...it was made in the U.S.A. My only complaint about this knife is that it arrived with a dull blade. QC issues??? I took out the sharpener and after a few minutes the knife had a nice little edge.

Great knife, but get the SG-3 if you can

I bought this awhile back, and it has held up well. This is one of my go-to knives for EDC, so it has been used for nearly everything over the last year. It still has a good edge, the handle is grippy and comfortable, and it doesn't show any signs of use. My only critique is that this knife and the three inch version share the same sheath, and when I bought this, they were the same price. I got the smaller of the two for carrying comfort, and if I had realized I was going to have the bigger sheath on my belt either way, I would have gladly gotten a little extra blade to go with it. That aside, the knife itself is wonderful.
