Pros: Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip
Cons: Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use
Great EDC choice, just be prepared to maintain it.
I received this knife as a present last year (bought from KC), and it was better than the gas station knife I had at the time. I had never had a knife with D2 steel before, and now I know that I won't buy one again. Starting this summer, I was fighting rust every day, not patina, rust. The sweat from my skin mixed with the humidity caused rust to develop around the thumb stud, lock bar, and pivot. The pivot got to the point that the lube the blade came with caused rusty grit. A scotch-brite pad was the only thing that could remove it. Now to the good, The blade is sharp and I've only had to sharpen it a few times. The handle is the perfect size for me and is very comfortable. The pocket clip is a tad bit stiff but nothing that can't be fixed. The lock bar is hard to access one-handed but it is possible. The reason I rated 4 stars is because my situation is a bit unique, but as a warning, if you live in very humid areas, get the AUS-8 model.
