The action, once broken in a little, is very crisp and satisfying. There's a looseness without it being loose, I guess supple would be the term. It takes a little to get used to a 3" knife with big hands but worth the time. Handle material is solid but provides little grip compared to a g10 or micarta (wish they'd offer one, I'd pay another $20 for better grip- not saying i'd expect it at this price). The ergonomics are great and the blade ramping up on the back is really smart in terms of leverage and control. Can't do better at this price that I'm aware of.

Made in Taiwan - budget feeling
I own several previous Ontario RAT models with micarta scales and thought this one would have it too from looking at the pictures not reading the description. When holding the knife I noticed the scales are made from some sort of cheap feeling plastic - slippery and just cheap. Further the scales show an allmost one milimeter large gap towards the metal where dust and water can get in. This is really bad! Blade came kind of dull cutting paper with some difficulties. The blade reads Taiwan (this is for sure) and D2 (really?!). Feels like a bad copy from Aliexpress. Not any blade play and blade centered. Decent opening snap. But not worth that the money in my opinion - rather 10 USD would be more appropriate. Hopefully Ontario company will not cut their costs further at the expence of quality.
