Solid knife
This is my work knife so I abuse it quite a bit. Handle is amazing material to maintain a good grip and the blade holds up quite well with the abuse.

i used and carry this knife everyday last two years. this knife is perfect for his money. i cant imagine knife could be better for me main pros of this knife is a easy folding, you can deploy it with one finger even your hands are wet, dirty or slippery. BUT i lost it from pant's poket in forest yesterday(( i dont know how it could happen, i hope to find my rat on spring)

A Great Knife!
The Ontario RAT Model 1 is a very nice folder and you get a lot for your money. Handle, blade and locking mechanism are all great. There is not a lot to be unhappy with. It is quite a big knife, and too big for me to cary as an everyday pocket knife. It would be the perfect knife to bring on a trek as a back up to a fixed blade. This is a real work horse, but in my opinion, it is also a beautiful knife. Great service from Knifecenter and iGlobal.

I own many of these, though I use only one. The rest I keep for collection and just because they are such an outstanding value in quality for a knife in this price range. Sturdy, well balanced, and nicely designed. Highly recommended for an all- purpose folder.

It's the actual "work" knife of most knife collectors because it has the qualities of the more expensive folders out there with less than a quarter of the price. I already have the OD Green, Desert Tan and Coyote Brown and it works as advertised.
