Only one word to describe this Rat Model 1 knife made in Taiwan Excellent. Fit and finish is Excellent I could shave hair on my arms out of the box. All my knives made in China or Taiwan are as well made as any of my knives made in United States or Germany. Thank you Knife Centre for the fast service.

Nice knife, built like a tank. The knife arrived very sharp and the blade was perfectly centered. The fit, finish, feel and operation of the knife are excellent. The quality of this knife rives other knives that cost a whole lot more. There will be more knives from Onterio in my future.

I love this knife. I bought it for an EDC work knife but now its my full time EDC. Its stayed sharp and just feels natural in hand. Hard to believe these sell for under $40. My old EDC which was a $125 Benchmade just doesnt compare. I have the OD green partially serrated and am thinking about ordering the tan version without serrations. You need to buy this knife you wont be disappointed

I was skeptical based on the price (and country of manufacture) but after researching, I had to gamble based on other reviews. The handle texture sucks - I have nearly launched it a couple times while flicking the blade open...but the action is a little softer now, so not a big issue. I normally don’t like half serrated blades, and still don’t, but this one was in stock and on sale so I went with it. I really don’t like the serrations on this knife - almost like saw teeth, but none the less effective I just personally don’t like them. The OD green is a very light color, not what you would expect. The knife is ugly...straight up ugly, but you forget all about that when you feel how it fits in your hand! This is a large knife with some weight to it, you know it is in your pocket ( I prefer that ). It seems to be built like a tank, and held a shaving sharp edge after a day of trials at work cutting cardboard (triple wall gaylords) heavy duty plastic banding strap, and 1/8” wall polyurethane tubing. Cuts like a champ. Handle texture and aesthetics are my only complaints...for the price, I plan to buy another one with plain edge and black scales.
