From the other reviews I think I was lucky …. twice, I ordered one because of his look, I was interested by it and the feeling of it so I ordered a second to use it as a EDC, yes the opening is a bit too strong but you get used to it. It cut perfectly everything that I have put under the blade ! So, everything ok !

For this price and for this knife, I have already bought 2 now I have 3 of them, I received it, there is no flaws, it cut perfectly, I am very happy ! It’s new, it is a little bit stiff, but it is ok it is not too much, the handle is on the small side and I like it for that.

The looks of this knife has always appealed to me and l finally bought one before they go out of stock. Weight-wise, this knife disappears in your pocket and with the minimalist handle, the knife takes up no room or causes no interference with using the pocket for carrying other essentials. The AUS 8 steel blade is close to the old standby 440C, and at this price point, is totally efficient in cutting tasks as it takes a wicked edge (though sharpening might be required more often...sharpening is a breeze). I try to stay out of the steel snobbery...and really just what do people expect to be using a smallish pocket knife for...fighting off zombies or dragons? This knife can do anything that a similar sized knife could be expected to do...mine is for EDC, and the OKC Carter Trinity is a stylish, low priced pocket knife that has wowed a few of my friends because of that very interesting blade shape. Definately going to be a knife in my EDC pocket rotation!

Huge failure
I love the size a weight and look of the knife but that’s all they got correct. The detent is to strong and mine came off centered. The action is just ok it’s riding on pb washers with a thin Teflon washer on top. Because of the flipper tab the ergoes are awful and for the price there are far better options that get it right with better steel as well like the steel will CutJack or Modus or the Ontario rat 1 or 2 in D2. I had high hopes but i would definitely avoid this one. Several others reported the same issues that I had.

Heed the bad reviews
Do like I didn’t, and listen to the bad reviews. Between the design and materials, I kept finding myself coming back to this knife. The mediocre reviews kept me from buying. I finally gave in, and I should have stayed strong. The GOOD: It’s a beautiful design. Weighs next to nothing. Visually, fit and finish is perfect. Razor sharp. Minimalist handle still fits the hand. The BAD: The detect is so strong that you might think it’s somehow frozen shut. It’s the only knife, of the waaaay too many I own, that is even difficult to open by just grabbing the blade. There’s a bit of side to side blade play when opened. That detent would be a fatal flaw if I wasn’t a tinkerer. Still a 1 star, as most would pack this back up after 10 flips and a sore pointer finger.
