Great Knife

Great knife at an outstanding closeout price that I could not pass up. Nice slim profile, perfect everyday size and very good grip on G10 handles.

Best well made & lightest weight knife you’ll buy for under $60

Shave your arm razor sharp right from the box. I got the Stonewashed drop point Blade and it has a nice look not all shiny like the standard model. The Black G-10 Handle is very nice and has a great grip not to overly rough like I’ve seen it described. CRSIP & smooth opening with the flick of your thumb. Ordered on Sunday evening received Wednesday double boxed & well packaged. Weight is a very very unnoticeable 2.8-2.9 ounces makes for a great everyday carry knife for all around use. After seeing the quality fit and finish I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another Dozier knife even if it’s made in Tiawan. My humble opinion it’s the best knife for under $60.00 ive ever owed.

Buy it

At $20 this is a steal. The knife feels light but solid. The handle is thin but comfortable. Blade is thin with a nice hollow grind. I've heard very good things about AUS-8 recently. wish it had a MID backlock instead, but I am very happy I pulled the trigger on this knife at $20!

Great EDC

This is my first Ontario and first lockback knife. For the money, this is an excellent knife. Does not deploy quickly but I was not expecting it to. The handle has a ton of grip and I would expect it to do well in many conditions. The lock is very strong. I could see a couple areas where a hot-spot might develop over extended use, but I would not use this knife like that. A handy, pocket-friendly knife for a great price.

Great knife

I got my knife in a reasonable amount of time. The knife is better than most Doizer lock designs. This is a true lockback. The lock is strong and stiff. Which is great. The blade is a great size and shape. It fits the hand well and the material used on the blade is great. Best knife under $100 you can buy.

Similar To Ontario RAT II

I give it 3/5 stars. I own dozens of knives. This knife compares favorably to the famous Ontario RAT II in AUS-8. For comparisons' sake, this knife: 1. Has a stronger lock ( back lock instead of liner ). 2. Has grippier handles. 3. Is stronger built overall. 4. Is superior in every way to the Ka-Bar Dozier which is borderline gas station BUT: A. Does not deploy as fast. B. Has thumb studs that are a little small. C. Has poorer ergonomics -- good but not great. D. Biggest flaw -- handle's thumb cutout for thumb stud should be much larger to make it easier to deploy. E. 2nd Biggest flaw -- pocket clip -- durable but not easy to get in/out of pocket. Personally, this is a good $30 knife. For $20, it's a steal. Other alternatives to consider: Ontario RAT I or II in AUS-8 or D2 Cold Steel Pro-Lite ( has lots of lock stick, but very durable ) Kershaw Natrix ( if you prefer flippers ) BTW, don't believe other hype reviews about being the "best < $60 knife" or "best < $100 knife". The persons may be sincere, but ludicrous to an objective person who owns a variety of said knives. FYI, my fave < $60 knife is the Civivi Elementum. My fave < $100 knife is a toss-up with Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight, Kershaw Dividend and Cold Steel American Lawman. There's heavy competition in every price point, especially the budget ones.
