OUTSTANDING sheath and adaptable

Just a great all around sheath and adaptable. I purchased sheath to use with my Ontario 499 knife and Ontario SP24 knife. Both knives fit very well. The sheath insert appears to have extra room in length, guessing a 6 inch blade will fit, too. The two restraining straps for the knife handle are adjustable in size with velcro. I can't think of one negative, all positives. Kudos to Melinda at Knife Center for answering any questions that I had.

Sheath fits Buck 119

This is an outstanding sheath for a survival knife. I managed to squeeze a small Bic lighter, live fire tinder, and compass into the pocket. An Exotac fire starter hangs attached to the outside of the sheath. After adjusting the handle restraining snaps, my buck 119 fits perfectly. I mean it fits like they were made for each other. Add the Life Straw that you wear around your neck and you could survive for days with nothing else.

I picked this up for my Rat 5. Fits very well IMO. The sheath was meant for a thicker blade so there is a little play in the sheath. But that suits me fine since the blade wont rub and scrape in the sheath, preserving the powder coating of the blade. The length of the sheath is perfect for the Rat 5. Maybe 1/4 inch longer overall than the oem sheath. The quality of the sheath is excellent. The storage pouch is lined with a water proof PVC.

Buy it!!!!

For the money, it's a great sheath. I ordered one for a custom knife that I made. Iwas looking for a sheath with a pouch for a fire starter and stone. It's working very well, has a little more room in the pouch for some fat wood. It's a bit big, since the knife I ordered it for has a 4 inch blade and it will fit upto a 5 inch blade by the looks of it.
