Just ok

It is a decent knife. Little titanium. For $50 they couldv put d2 on it. But then we would only buy the 1 knife. I think they want us to buy 2. Take a few years to get d2 on this. Whenever this sales drop they will slap d2 on them and sell for same. Call it a "free" upgrade. Not like a rat. Won't be as popular for sure

Great look and feel but...

The flipper deploys the blade easily leading to a surprisingly ergonomic feeling handle. I get a nice 4 finger grip although the bottom is pretty slim. The jimping is a bit aggressive but locks the thumb in very securely. The pocket clips carries deep and overall the knife has a very small pocket profile. I purchased this because I loved the design and am not dissapointed in that. The blue and silver really look great in person. It's also more comfortable to hold than I was expecting. The narrow tanto profile is the most usable tanto that I've owned. Here are my 2 disappointments. 1: I really wish they would have went for a harder steel, especially for the price. It holds an edge well enough but still needs frequent honing. 2: At the time of ordering the knifecenter webpage says that this blade is made in Taiwan. Upon receiving the blade I see that it in fact made in China. I am not opposed to foreign items but I pay attention. I felt better thinking I was helping a smaller country with my purchase. I would not have made this purchase had the description been more accurate. I do like the knife though. With an upgrade in materials and/or a cheaper price it would be 4 or 5 stars to me.

Wanted to like this knife

Knife is nice looking and well built. Not sure about Aus8 tho. The one MAJOR issue that dropped it to a 3 is the flipper tab - it's set way too low and offers minimal leverage causing the knife to deploy 2/3 from straight. NOT a good design. This requires some wrist action to fully deploy which doesn't make for a good flipper.
