I like it!!
I still consider myself a newbie to hammock camping (4 weekend trips so far) but almost everyone who has slept in a hammock with a mummy sleeping bag will tell you what a chore it is to get in and get the zipper done up! This Hammock Quilt made my April camping trip so much more enjoyable as far as sleeping goes. The foot box is probably my favourite feature about this quilt. It kept my feet warm and I appreciated that it helped keep the quilt oriented correctly unlike a regular blanket. The "wings" on the quilt keep you tucked in and I found that slipping them underneath me was so much easier than fighting with a sleeping bag. I paired this with the snugpak underblanket and once adjusted correctly (cbs first night) I found it, together, to be an adequate insulation system for the temperature. I believe it got down to about 45 degrees F (7C). I wore a base layer (pants, socks,shirt and hoodie) and was comfortable. This is not a 4 season quilt but I will be packing it for my 3 season camping.
