This is a surprisingly good knife for the price. I bought it for additional peace of mind in the grizzly country of my upcoming Tour Divide bikepacking trip. It has a great flipper action and it’s very easy to close one-handed with its drop shut heft. I love the full flat grind, which let me polish up one side for a mirror finish to signal potential search and rescue efforts - but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that! I also removed the pocket clip and sanded down all the handle edges - exposing more blade and improving the appearance to my eye. It also doesn’t fully require the back spacer due to the other metal spacers. All-in-all these changes reduced the weight by half an ounce. There is a video of the mods on my instagram
