no more can be asked from a $40 knife. the big surprise was how well the front flipper was designed. an opening method that I was sure the devil himself delivered as a bane to the existence of the good natured people that populate the knife enthusiast community. this is one of the most effortlessly opening flippers (front or back) I've experienced. tape the edge while learning. relax, don't get angry and throw it like I did. before the end of the day you'll get it. don't think you have open it like other FF's. I made up 3 opening methods that don't require counter-intuitive hand contortions or childish flicking of the wrist. I have two and will get another just in case.
