Well designed blade and hilt. Knife has an excellent balance. Sheath locks the knife in tightly. All around a great product at an excellent price.

Good knife

After reading a lot of reviews about this knife (good and bad), I wanted to try by myself. I'm very pleased with it so far. The blade is well proportioned and easy to sharpen. The sheath holds the knife very well. Quality/price ratio is very good.

Great knife !!

The Essee 4 is beyond what I had expected . The kife has a well made blade and can be used for batoning if you find a need to cut through brush, small trees..ect. Weight and balance is Awsome ! The knife was sharp when I received it however; I still put it on my stones and obtained the edge I wanted with little effort. The blade holds the edge well. After numerous cutting jobs it still shaves. The 1095 high carbon blades will rust and tarnish but, it isn't a big deal to me. Most important is the durability and edge retention . I recommend the kife to anyone from hikers, hunters, survivalist, backpacking. Best multipurpose knife I have found to date. This knife could only be improved with a leather sheath.
