Pros: Handle Material, Overall Quality, Blade Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Materials, Finish, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Weight
Great knife for people with bigger hands and prefer heavy knives
I was planning to use this knife for 2 purposes, a camp knife and hiking knife. It was a bit too heavy for a hiking knife for me and a little bit short in length for a camp knife. I end up returning the knife but purchased 2 other Esee knives, the 4 series for hiking and the Junglas for camp knife. I used to own a few SOG and Cold Steel knives, they were nice and of good quality. They were recently stolen from my storage unit. I did some research and ended up purchasing this knife, and it was just amazing to see the craftsmanship and sharpness. The boxing and packaging of this knife is equally impressive compared to other brands I purchased. Eventhough, I had to return it, I was so impressed with this knife that I ended up getting 2 other ESEE knives that meets the needs. I am hooked for life with ESEE knives. I cannot comment much other than the appearance and sharpness of the knife, since I ended up returning it and never used it.
