Get it!!

I use this knife for deep back woods travel, and camp knife. Hair shaving sharp out of the box, and it holds a wonderful edge. I can go on and on about it, but at the end of the day its a great design, and if you truly know how to use a knife this one is awesome to work with.

Great knife! Nicer than I hoped

Bought it as a general camping/backpacking tool. Came very sharp and very well made. Size is great and feels very durable in the hand. I spent the first 2 days "hacking" stuff, just because I could! Can't wait for next hiking trip to put it to its intended purpose! Shealth locks the blade in so unintended loss would be difficult. Even the belt clip seems well made and allows for several carry options

ESEE is the best

Just recieved today and the knife looks and feels great. This is the perfect all around knife for me from hunting to backpacking. Blade out of the box can shave hair and the balance is great. I also own the ESEE 4 and while it is a great knife it was just a little to small for what I needed in the field. Can't go wrong with the 6 and as always thanks knife center for the fast shipping and the christmas bonus in the box.

just got my esee 6 last friday love the blade everything u hear online about it is spot on dont waste your time worring about your desicion to buy just do it as a side not the shipping was very fast cant wait to hit the woods and put some miles on this girl

The quest for the perfect knife

I love knife throwing. But I like real knives to do it. I started with small knives (Opinel n. 10) but they broke too often; then I discovered RAT knives and I bought the Ontario RAT 3, which also broke. Then I tried the RC-4, and I thought I had found the perfect knife for me, because I believed I'd never be able to grab a blade bigger than 4.5 inches. But after trying this summer the True flight I realised how convenient a 6 inches blade would be; which took me to consider the RC-6 as the next possibility in my quest for the perfect knife. It wasn't available at that time, so I bought the RC-5, which is way too heavy to make repeated throws. And finally I bought the RC-6, and now I know that my quest for the perfect knife is over: the RC-6 is the knife I want to have with me 'till the day I die; length, balance, weight...I can't imagine anything better than this perfect piece of handicraft.

ESEE 6

First off this is a beautiful knife nice QC and finish, that being said the picture is misleading on this one since I got a green handle with this ugly brown sheath which is better then most, but still not a great sheath. Knife was sharp and light for backpacking a bit to light for chopping not that it can't it just doesn't have the heft. Good every day use knife love the warranty so look forward to abusing this one more gave 5 stars because all my gripes are listed and they are minor.

Work horse

Perfect for large works and still can be smaller work just done. There is a great balance and it is perfectly in the hand. Despite its size, it feels relatively lightly. Great Knife, Perfect KnifeCenter!

My first weekend with this knife i cut down 12 cedar trees around 1 1/2" in dia and it was just as sharp as before i started. Its my new favorite blade.

Lighter than you'd think

I grabbed this on line besed on reviews alone. I was suprised how much steel they shaved off making this a very light(but nimble)/crazy sharp blade. I dont know how well it will stand up here in Afghanistan, since Soldiers use knives instead of anything in a toolbox. ESEE claims they will back their product anywhere in the world, how can you go wrong? The sheath came with a silly bolt on belt clip, I use 5-50 cord, but a Teklock or malice clips would be my only sggested improvement for mounting.
