ESEE Knives ARE GREAT KIT,WELL MADE, AND DESIGNED !!!

Will use for camping, survival, bushcraft, hunting, foraging, and work. I have been using RAT and ESEE knives for years since I first purchasing a TAK and a RTAK made by Ontario (when that was the only way to get a Randall Adventure Training designed knife). Over the years I have add a RYP H.e.i.s.t., a E&E RAT 5, a ESEE-3, ESEE-5 and now a ESEE-6 (with the venom green blade and orange handle). Truthfully I cannot wait to add more ESEE knives and gear to my travel bags and packs. One never knows what one will run into in life. Everything designed by Randall- ESEE is well made, designed, and thought out. Please check out their website for real life survival, military, and SERE tools, knives and gear, plus the real knowledge on how to use it and live in difficult places. I have really used some of these tools hard, and have never had an issue nor a regret.

Hi-Vis Mode for THE Ultimate production outdoor knife !

This is literally my 5th ESEE 6, second version in Venom Green. The others were two regular 6's and a The Knife Connection version/build. In my part of the world, open carry is legal for both firearms and knives, so I am very fortunate in that regards. As far as testing and comparisons are concerned, there is an abundance of field-testing references available for viewing on the internet machine you're currently using to read this review. Included with the ESEE 6 Venom Green edition is a snug fitting sheath with a clip plate attachment available for you to use, or not, depending on your carrying preferences. I personally like the clip as it allows you to remove the sheath without taking off your belt. As with all ESEE knives purchased new, the edge came shaving sharp and ready for use right off the bat. My reputation for donating blades to mother nature precedes me, so I tend to lean towards colorful knives and outdoor gear that are not camoflauge or tacticool shades of black and gray. With the outstanding build quality, reputation, and famous lifetime warranty that comes with all 1095 steel ESEE's, one's knife collection is truly incomplete without it. Plus, if you're just looking for a be all/ end all outdoor blade, look no further.

Haven't used it. It looks too nice. Very well build. Exactly what you can expect from ESEE. The sheath is very versatile.

General use around camp..holds an edge..do not expect the finish to be like new if you use/abuse it like i do...i like the wear marks!

Very smooth - quick service

Use for Bushcraft and other related outdoor work. Very nicely balanced but switched the handles to a different darker colour. Would suggest you include an allen (hex) key to EU clients, simply to allow switching handles because trying to find an imperial, 18th Century hex key in the modern, decimal European Union is almost IMPOSSIBLE !!!! NASA made the error of using feet and inches with the Shuttle missions, and did they screw up on one mission - where does 12 inches, and 3 feet in a yard, and so many per mile make any logical sense.....but its a lovely tradition.....no wonder kids are confused Geez, teach em metric soon ! cm, m, km, multiples of 10....makes sense !!! Not very often get to moan about the old imperial traditions. But hey, I appreciate its a great US knife :) ;)
