Thinner than Rat 2 from the same designers. I like the Zancudo handle better and the Rat 2 blade profile more. Unlike Cold Steel, the blade thickness on each is medium instead of thick, hence slicier. The Zancudo has a non traditional look vs the Rat 2; the Rat 2 is a little ho-hum but a trusted tool. Both have stiff detents that are hard to get used to but result in reliable solid blade lock up when it finally flies out. I’d like to see a Zancudo flipper. Flippers keep the edge uninstructed vs studs, and can act as a finger guard once open.

I'd been looking for a smaller pocket knife. This thing is perfect. The blade shape and size is just right. Shaving sharp out of the box. I just got it last week and haven't cut with it yet, so I can't speak to edge holding. Blade action is smooth. As other reviews have stated, the blade can be difficult to open, but not if you know what you're doing. It flies out when done correctly. The handle ergonomics are great! Feels great in the hand. The FRN scales aren't as "grippy" as g10, but adequate. The one negative I would say is that the lock is really stiff. The lockup is great, but unlocking and closing the knife can be tricky. You really do have to use a fingernail to close it. You just have to play with it and figure out what works for you. I can close it one handed, but it wasn't super easy the first few times. That's why it didn't get 5 stars. But for $33 who would complain?
